Part of the special atmosphere of Our World English Schools comes from the close rapport between students and staff. Many of them keep in touch long after the summer is over, and many come back year after year.

After a full day of English lessons and sports activities students and staff have the opportunity of relaxing together in the evening. Each week there is a disco, a barbecue, a music and drama night and a sports competition, but also some free time for the students to spend in the comfort of their boarding houses, at the swimming pool or on the tennis courts. In addition to the regular weekly events there is also the possibility of trips to the cinema, bowling and ice skating. There are special events, too, such as Blind Date, Quiz Night and the highly enjoyable Talent Show in which teachers, students and the Course Director find themselves on the stage.
